A written rental offer should identify the pieces and components, their condition, the rental period, delivery and return arrangements, hire price and any deposit. Cancellation, late-return, damage and loss conditions must be agreed before a booking or payment.
Do not rely on a campaign image as confirmation that a particular piece is available for your event.
Record the pieces and components received and raise any condition concern promptly. Do not alter, resize or arrange repairs without the owner’s written agreement. Follow the care instructions supplied for the particular jewellery.
Keep the return or handover record. Any proposed deduction should identify the issue, supporting evidence and the agreed term relied on. This enquiry-stage document does not impose a deposit, late fee or replacement charge.
